Wonder what Lucy is thinking of the two new pony's Dave said they have been use to children so Lucy can now learn to ride. Also Freddy is getting ready for that. When the two pony's got in the fence they kept on running all over and the three sheep where following them. Thanksgiving 2012

What a great Thanksgiving day. The weather was great. The kids walked without a coat and short sleeves. The nice after dinner walk made it special. And the kids had a great time. Thanks Anna for the crafts. You know how to make it special. And Evie and Jim great dinner, it was a lot of work but you made it look like nothing. Nice day to remember.

Grandparents day at school.

Evie and I visit Lucy in her classroom today.First her music class, then her home room and finally we had lunch in the lunchroom with her. It opens your eyes how different teaching is then what I remember. I did enjoy the time we spend there. Special see her eating her lunch. First the cookies, the the berries and carrots and when she was ready to eat her sandwich it was time to go back to the class. Lucy you where a real nice hostes. I love you.

A story.

There once was a little girl named Lucy. She grew up at a farm house with all her favorite animals. She moved in the house when she was 5 years old.She loved her bedroom upstairs, because she could look out the window and see the animals.A horse, 3 donkeys some sheep and cows. One morning she woke up and said, I am taking potato for a walk. She put on her warm pants, hat and scarf and went down the hill to potato. He was happy to see her and there they went together up the hill and through the fields. While she was walking she saw a lot. Some left over flowers from the summer. Also some nice butter fly's.She walked and walked and potato stayed right beside her. What fun. Before she new it was getting late, time to bring potato back to fields behind the bars. Lucy did not want to lose him so she made sure the fence was closed. Then she ran up the hill to there home, ready to eat supper and go to bed. Because tomorrow she had to go back to school and learn. She slipped in her nighty and crawled under the blankets, nice and warm thinking of potato.
