Christmas 2015

Some of the pictures of Christmas 2015, the warmest ever. 70 degrees. THe children are growing and I am getting older. In a couple of weeks I am going to be 89 years young.

WE are having a Bodenstaff family reunion on August 2    2015. Jim was looking for some old family pictures. So I got my albums out and found a lot of old ones. Black and white.It is good to look back and see where we came from. With it I found a picture of my oldest brother and family. How good they look. My brother and  his wife have past away but the boy are still o.k. in the Netherlands.

Monday April 13 2015 it is going to be 70 years that I was liberated from the Germans by the soldiers on April 13 1945. It always brings back so many bad memories, but I do have to go back to appreciate what I have now. A bad beginning , but a great end, Life has been good to me,  But you never forget the 5 years under Hitler, special as a teenager.And I always remember the soldiers that freed us, and some gave there life.

Winter 2015

What a winter this is and it is still February. The Deer can not find food, old people are stuck in the house and a lot of people are suffering. Hope spring will come early.

Birthday Thea.

A small Birthday Party this year, but then at Mac Donalds after Silver Sneakers 15 member and the staff had a party for me. What a nice bunch of friends.

My little baby is 60 years old today. Happy Birthday Hon. with all my love.

Here it is Christmas 2014. A other year has gone by, My children are older and wiser. The great grand children are growing and sweeter and I are getting older and sentimental .I love my life and anyone connected with it. I also have so many dear friends. I miss not being able to keep more often in touch with them. But that is life. A dear friend has moved from Florida to Ohio to be with her family. My friend op North is getting harder because we do not drive as much anymore, but we do not forget one a other. We also have many fond memories. So I look at life as being blessed.

Freddys class visit.

A visit to Freddys class was very exiting for us but also for Freddy. He seam to enjoy it.

In the Geneseo Warplane Museum is a lot of history for me. It was awesome to be in a plane that helped my liberation from the Germans in 1945.
