I got back tonight from our convention in Pittsburgh P.A.It was great to see every one from 8 different States. We had 81 people at the meetings. And great success. We planned for the next year.N.Y States voted on working for children with Autism. In Buffalo they are working with children with Autism on ice.One friend of us gave us a story of inspiration. It seems that on ice they are feeling free, and come out there shell. So Chapter 59, that is us are going to try to make the most money in N,Y. State So please help us with going to our affairs. So the Eastern District Convention. made us all feel good. Now we are looking forward to Aug 8. The begin of our National Convention in San Antonio T.X. Those conventions are every four years.Hope that I can go.A few pictures from Pittsburgh.

Evening visitors.
A surprise group of people came to the door tonight. A little knock on the door and there was Lucy. She took her coat of and made her self feel at home. Then she went to a bedroom and got Susie to play with. It is so nice that the little ones know your home. Then came Evie with Freddy, and if that was not enough Jim, Anna, David and ....... Franny the Donkey. What a gang. But also Lucy and Freddy got the shuffle board going. What fun and what a memories come back.

New coffee table.
Several times my grandchildren will ask where is this and where is that. They remember every thing I had in my house when they where small. Kristy ask Kim where does grandma has the shuffle board. So Kim and Kris it is in this picture, waiting for you to come over and play. Mabey you can show the little ones some day. I did drip some sweat to do it for you. All the photo albums had to go back to the computer room. But you have your way and grandma was happy to please you.

Surprice Picture.

One of my contact in the Netherlands send me a picture , me as a teenager.I had no idea that something so old people saved. Now I wonder why. I wonder if any one can see what I am wearing. Remember this was war time. The top I am wearing I made from a baby blanket my mother had. Now I look back it gives me a funny feeling. But what are you to do if you have nothing. I did outgrew every thing from before the war.

Early Spring.
What a beautiful Easter day. We spent all day outside. No coats, bare feet and a lot of fun.My Nancy had us over for a beautiful Brunch. Great to see every one.Later after every one was gone we talked with Kris in England. Then Kim decided to go to Letchworth Park. That turned out to be the best. We saw trees sprouting out in front of us. Flowers where blooming and the birds where singing. The sight of the river was breath taking. Warm weather , and one side of the falls was covered with ice.Shining and beautiful. To see Letchworth at different times a year is amazing.Nancy also showed us a beautiful silk threat picture she had bought.
