Omaha Beach 70Years ago.

The go back in time you can not, but your memories can and they do. After Liberation I found out how many Soldiers have died for my freedom. I wonder how I made it this far with always have on my mind those young men died for me. I have shed many tears on remembering them and hope I have showed some appreciation. But I always feel it is not enough. Through the years I have talked to men who where there and understand. People say they understand, but they do not. I have talked to women that lost a husband that they loved, how can you feel that unless you have been there. I think this is why I love young people, they have the understanding of what life is all about. Not money, not stuff, but just caring.

Memorial Day 2014

A few scenes of Memorial Day in our small town. It is always very emotional for me, but we have to remember what they gave for our freedom.

Mothersday 2014.

Some of the pictures of Mothersday.  I had a great one. Fun was to see Kims pictures of her trip to Utah. A new burning can has been put in his place. And Kim gave me A wind mill and they also put it in place where my harbor has been. Great to have a nice family.
