In the Geneseo Warplane Museum is a lot of history for me. It was awesome to be in a plane that helped my liberation from the Germans in 1945.

To celebrate Jim's Birthday the boy had a campout with there family last night. It all brings back so many memories for me, and it is a joy to be part of it.

The go back in time you can not, but your memories can and they do. After Liberation I found out how many Soldiers have died for my freedom. I wonder how I made it this far with always have on my mind those young men died for me. I have shed many tears on remembering them and hope I have showed some appreciation. But I always feel it is not enough. Through the years I have talked to men who where there and understand. People say they understand, but they do not. I have talked to women that lost a husband that they loved, how can you feel that unless you have been there. I think this is why I love young people, they have the understanding of what life is all about. Not money, not stuff, but just caring.
