Dreaming

I am looking back and dreaming. A day to do this is May 31 2010.Memorial day. I have a sad feeling and also a good feeling. How is that possible.See all the programs on t.v. about our soldiers is so sad. To see the families remembering there love ones.I can sit here and cry.Why do we have wars, can we not live in peace.Be good neighbors, helping one and other. What is so hard about this. Call a friend and tell them you love them. It will give you peace ,and also happiness.I have a good feeling, knowing I tryed to be that person. Live is short, but the love and caring you give in your live will continue. So stand still and think about what you can do to make this world better. We all have this change.

Memorial Day

This is one day a year I special think of the soldiers that lost there life for me, so I could have a better life. It would be great if I could say in person to them THANK YOU.In normal life you do forget, but believe me Memorial Day I do remember. When you are five years in a war and see what it does to the men who liberated you, it does something to you.So my Memorial Day I will have a special feeling for all you soldiers.

Taking care of my home

This weekend I did a lot of work. First shopping for paint. Then in the afternoon I painted my metal chairs for outside. They it self have a memory. My in Laws had them given to them when we came here.So when they passed on we got them. So they are old, but good. This year I painted them green.Also the table outside..After that I empty out the garage. It looks like I have a garage sale. Then I cleaned and scraped the floor clean, and painted the floor with a brush. It looks nice and believe me a good feeling for my self.

Mothers day, 2010

We had a real nice Mothers day at Louise. After dinner we took a nice walk in her woods. Later we had a great campfire. Here are a couple of pictures.

A bright spot in the day.

Today is a windy and unpleasant day for me, and I think for most of us. We like the weather to be nice all the time. Then the door bell rang and the florist was there with the most beautiful flowers. Who could send me that. Yes it was the same family that has been doing that for many years, Thank you so much my sweethearts.Jim,Julie and Molly.

The Baseball Game.

The Game was Rochester Red Wings v.s Durham Bulls. The wings won 7-6 in the 11 inning.

Yesterday we where invited for a Baseball game by Mike's family. This was his surprise 80 birthday party. We had a suite and 40 people. You could sit inside or outside. Inside they had a big T.V. They also had a lot of food and drinks. Plus a big Birthday cake. Most where all family and we as close friends. Mike was surprised. A great day for him.
