Little Miss Friesland.

Dave was over with the two little ones. What a joy. They know every thing I have in the house, plus little animal crackers, Mom was at the Pottery.

College.

Today we had a tour of the college in my town. It was great. We went there to see if we can sign up for a computer class. They have them, but the person in charge was not there. But we where very impressed. They will be in touch with us. So we wait. They have classes there and the teacher is in Batavia. So you get lesson from a screen. They have a lot of classes from accounting to Art. So I am sure I will take something.Every two weeks on Tuesday at six p.m. they have a movie that is free. They also serve popcorn. So I hope that my town people will go to those free bees.It is good advertisement for the school.

What a day.

Can you find all my three Great Grandchildren in the left picture?

This morning I got up and ready to go. Dishwasher on . Stripped the bed and put the washing machine on, then the door went open and trouble started. There was my Granddaughter Kim. She said I am here to do some work. Well that she did. She knew all the things that where hard to do and started. All my windows in the basement, in and out. She helped me to put the sheets and the underpad on the line outside. It is getting hard for me to do things above my hearth. She cleaned my chandelier in the dining room and ceiling lights. Got all my carved birds and fish from above my french doors and cleaned the shelve while I cleaned the birds. She mowed all my back yard. That was fun for her.She put the cushions on my furniture on the deck. And more . It makes me tyred now writing about it. Kim I love you and we did have a good time. Then for supper I went to Evie. She had the two kids overnight, and they are so good. That was fun. I will put a couple of pictures on here , they are tops.

Surprice Picture.

One of my contact in the Netherlands send me a picture , me as a teenager.I had no idea that something so old people saved. Now I wonder why. I wonder if any one can see what I am wearing. Remember this was war time. The top I am wearing I made from a baby blanket my mother had. Now I look back it gives me a funny feeling. But what are you to do if you have nothing. I did outgrew every thing from before the war.

Early Spring.

What a beautiful Easter day. We spent all day outside. No coats, bare feet and a lot of fun.My Nancy had us over for a beautiful Brunch. Great to see every one.Later after every one was gone we talked with Kris in England. Then Kim decided to go to Letchworth Park. That turned out to be the best. We saw trees sprouting out in front of us. Flowers where blooming and the birds where singing. The sight of the river was breath taking. Warm weather , and one side of the falls was covered with ice.Shining and beautiful. To see Letchworth at different times a year is amazing.Nancy also showed us a beautiful silk threat picture she had bought.
