Evie's Concert.

WE had a other beautiful concert with Evie's Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra yesterday. I was so excited for Evie, she had 10  family and friends there. Jim and Julie went also. Julie's Mom was baby sitting. After all 10 of us went out for dinner.It was a Fall Concert. One of the pieces they played was a Selections from the Planets. It was great Evie.Good luck this week.

A look out my window.

A nice fall rainy day today, and this is what I saw out the window this morning. We have to stand still once and a while and look what you see, Yesterday it was a sunny day in many ways,Anna stopped by  with her children and they are a joy. Taking rides with Granny in the golf card. Even Henry liked it. And the sun was just great, it felt like summer.

My knitting group.

I had a nice morning with my knitting group, and I think something positive came out it to. While talking together we came up to a subject close to my hearth. WWII.One of our members lost her husband in the war, and I was in the war.I mention that I could not face the Veterans in a home. They freed me and they are left with mental  problems.But the more we talked there is a way we can help them. Knitting. WE are planning to make something for them, hat, scarfs or blanket. Something that helps them and us.Let me know if you have any ideas.My motto is help the one who needs help,Good slogan?

My little family get together.

WE had a nice overnight get together with my three girls.They behave then like when they where kids. A great memory.Love you all!!!!!!!!

You can see the dog is a big part of Kim's Birthday.It was a real nice evening. You deserve every thing you got. Hope you have many more Kim.

This is our town newspaper in Assen Netherlands. The head line is Germany and Italy at War with the V.S.The photo's are Hitler and Musoliny. This was a year after we where captured. The worse time was ahead of us.Sad, sad memories.The V.S. is the Vereenige Staten, means Unites States This paper is from 1941.
