Juniper Bonsai.

Well I have thanks to my granddaughters a new hobby.They send me a Bonsai tree. I knew not much about it, but I am really going to try to keep it alive.I knew that it takes a lot of patient. But I did not knew that they can have mites and they need summer and winter care. So I hope I can do it.

Special visit.

Today I got company from Cape Cod. Nancy's room mate from college was visiting Nancy.And she wanted to see me. We had a nice visit and it was good to see Donna. Also bring up some memories. Where did the time go. It was good to see you Donna.

Lucy,s Dance Recital.

Tonight we had Lucy,s dance recital.It was nice. Even Freddy enjoyed it most of the time.So nice to enjoy your great grand children with the arts.

Fathersday 2011.

Today I had two invitations for Fathers day. But I always go to the one that ask me first. That was Nancy.I spend there a real nice day. First coffee, then picnic food and around 5.30 tea.Joe ,like always got spoiled. Lots of gifts and good taste in gifts. Leave it at that.But I think he gets older,he needed a little rest. Or maybe it was the visit of his Mother in law. But I had a nice day.

Great Grandchildren.

I went to Evie and Jim for dinner tonight. Jim was home with the family and it was so great to see every one. Special the children they grow up so fast. This was also nice to take a few pictures for our memories. Later I do not want to think I wish I had done this or that. This will stay in my blog if I am here or not.

Memorial Day small town U.S.A.

I went to the memorial Parade in our town today, to say thanks to the soldiers that freed me from the Germans.It always is vere emotinal for me. Many young man died for my freedom.It becomes very personal. I know it might be hard to understand for people here. They always had there freedom. I know many lost there sons and fathers and my hearth goes out to them. So I have mixed feelings about it. So all I can say is THANK YOU>
