The weather has been odd this spring. The pictures where all within a week.

April 15.

Yes this is a great day for my memories. It was my wedding day 64 years ago. Thank you family and friends for remembering the day for me.

I think I am back.

My Verizon let me down.But I think I have it back. Sorry. I want to thank every one for the sympathy they showed for my brother. I did mend a lot to me.Thanks again.

Hurting.

I am going to miss you so Gerrit.

You can not keep Granny down.

I surprise my self when I am with the little ones I can do anything. I feel young again. Even Lucas played with me. The kids went down the slide and I went on the platform and I said to Fred I can not go down the slide, I am to fat. And Fred said you are not fat. Boy did this Granny felt good. A compliment from Freddy? Also Lucas came to sit with me on the platform. I got the feeling I was loved from left to right.How lucky am I.Thank you Lucy and Freddy to keep this Granny going.

Old Goats.

Groups of Americans were traveling by bus through Holland. As they stopped at a cheese farm, a young guide led them through the process making, explaining that goat's milk was used. She showed the group a lovely hillside where many goats where grazing These she explained, are the older goats, put out to pasture when they no longer produce.She then asked, What do you do in America with the old goats? A spry old gentleman answered They send them on bus tours.

Volunteering.

Volunteering comes in many different ways. I Volunteerd as a leader from the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. Worked at the P.T.A. Then 38 years at the Cancer Center of Rochester General and a Little Theresa hospice. I can not do those jobs any more but I have a new interest. Making Baby hats for the Hospital nurseries.
