Arts, crafts and family.

First of all today 110 years ago my Mom was born and I always have a special feeling that day.Later in the morning Dave called and said he was coming over to mow.My back has been bad and I welcome the suggestion.He came over with Fred and Lucy. They helped me clean up outside what I was doing and then we went inside to do Arts and Crafts.Lucy finished her painting of the horse and then I showed them pencil painting. In between eating and drinking. Lots of fun.They are just great kids to have around. Adn Dave thanks again. Love you all.

Do you believe in Ghost?

Well I do , and I wish the Ghost would come forward.I went out for dinner tonight to celebrate my wedding 65 years ago. I told Kim I take Grandpa with me.. I ordered a glass of Merlo, then had a Salad and my dinner. Could not eat every thing, so a meal for tomorrow. When I ask for the bill she said all taken care of, Then I want to give her a tip, all taken care of, I went out side and sat in a chair wondering what is going on. No one then Kim knew I was going out and she said she swear to it she did not do anything. So it must have been the Ghost of my husband. Who ever thank you so much. I believe in you.

April 13 1944.

This was the day that I was liberated from the Germans after five years of hell.It is something you never forget and also something you can not explain to other people.Just like our soldiers when they come home from war. They do not say much, how are you telling people how you feel when you see people being killed.When you have the fear of what is coming next. I remember when I worked in the Hospital here and we had patient that where in WWII. and they found out I was there to, they opened up to me, and I helped them by understanding. They said you understand. Every year on April 13 I have that strange feeling what freedom is.

65 Wedding Anniversary.

On April 15 1948 I married this wonderful Man,Father and Grandfather. This is going to be 65 years ago on April 15. Lots of great memories. I married the greatest man, and it feels great to put it on paper.

Changing my life style.

Well a other Hummel done, but that is it for a while. I have to change what I am doing. To much problems with my back. It has been a long time ago that I had 2 back surgerys done. It was 1974. So I had a lot of help trough it. But my back is getting old and I have to treat it that way. No more knitting either for a while, just getting bored.But I have to try. So help me when I get bored. I love my family and all the kids, and there are a lot of possibility's.

Kate's 2 Birthday party.

I was not sure if I was going to make the party today. My back was killing me when I got up this morning. But it was great to see the kids and their new home. It looked to me the girls were at home.
