April 13 1944.

This was the day that I was liberated from the Germans after five years of hell.It is something you never forget and also something you can not explain to other people.Just like our soldiers when they come home from war. They do not say much, how are you telling people how you feel when you see people being killed. When you have the fear of what is coming next. I remember when I worked in the Hospital here and we had patient that where in WWII. and they found out I was there to, they opened up to me, and I helped them by understanding. They said you understand. Every year on April 13 I have that strange feeling what freedom is.
