One of my contact in the Netherlands send me a picture , me as a teenager.I had no idea that something so old people saved. Now I wonder why. I wonder if any one can see what I am wearing. Remember this was war time. The top I am wearing I made from a baby blanket my mother had. Now I look back it gives me a funny feeling. But what are you to do if you have nothing. I did outgrew every thing from before the war.
That's a beautiful shirt!!! You know, today that would be called "upcycling" -- making new clothes out of old fabric -- and you'd be saving the planet.
